The TIBETAN TERRIER is quite a rare breed in the UK.They are playful dogs but not overly boistrious. They are great with children and very affectionate. The average size is between 14-16 inches high so they are not an overly large dog and can comfortably live in the house. However, they are hardy dogs and are happy to live outside if provided with suitable shetler. They do need regular grooming as they have a double coat that can become matted if not brushed. If grooming is started started while a puppy they get use to being brushed and will stand contentedly while you do it.The 'TT' is an ideal dog as a family pet or for show, they have a super temperament but will protect their family if need be. They are loyal dogs and require 'special' homes with lots of love.
